I would agree if there was perhaps some design to it. But as I said, it is basically just a random leather ipod case with a Prada logo attached. I could not possibly justify paying anywhere near $200 for it, especially since Prada is known for poor quality accessories. But if you can, good for you.

Agreed....I can pull off that little triangle and its not so hot anymore, isnt it? If I'm going to spend almost the same amount for an ipod to protect my ipod then I'd go for soemthing more special...as of right now..I'd take the dog bowl.

BTW, wtf are you arguing with Alex about this for?....He's not the only one who says its outrageous and this was not offensive at all...why pick on him so much?

I found this adorable ipod case...

I like how the case is fully closed...it looks like a wallet type of thing but for an ipod...i am not too keen on the colour...but the design is quite good..
and its fo $64 ( dare i say a bargain?)...

sorry for the late reply Dulisima i have been busy, yes the photo which was posted is the case i have, personally i dont think it is any more out of order buying an expensive ipod case as people spend all on wallets and purses. It just comes down to your personal situation if you want to spend money on a item which alot of people may not use. however i have no regrets buying mine.

I don't know anything about the retailer, but Incase do seem to make the most practical and fun iPod sleeves and cases from what I've seen. And I've seen a lot.

Urgh, the saddest thing ever is that there's barely anything in Vienna... we don't even have a Dior Flagship store...

And the Apple shops here are so not supporting iPods... like, they don't sell screen protectors, click wheel protectors, iPod shuffle stickers, etc. etc....

And the Vuitton iPod cases are a joke. Basically, it's their cigarette case (i even have the number: M63024) with a loop in the back to be worn with a belt and a hole on top for the headphones... and they charge you around 50 Euros more for that loop and the headphone hole... it's just a cruel cruel joke...

And I still want it! (the Nomade leather one though....)

the incase is nice, minus the front design. there is a green one with a lot more subtle cover. for $64. it seems like it'd be great for a student who doesn't want to carry a purse. wish i'd had it last year.

sorry, but i'd much rather have one with character, and this is the one that i am most certainly getting...

...Yes it may well be rather garish, but its fun and non uniform like the prada one, my boyfriends mp3 player case is just like it without the triangle, and we both think its damn boring, if you like it fair enough, but it seems like a waste of £££ especially when these are $30

As is everything with designer fashion. We could all buy our clothing from Target and Walmart and still accomplish the same goal as one who shops at Barneys. There's a reason why many of us like designers, and image is defintely part of the equation.....
Why bash those who want IPOD cases? The same people who do so chase obscure designers, praise their so-called quality and design and then attempt to flaunt it as wininng one over the masses. Let's be real here. The anti brand brigade comes into yet another thread to bash the biggies (Prada, LV, etc.) and call folks silly for doing so, but these same people pay hundreds of dollars for a *silly* belt or some t-shirt that in no way shape or form can be justified, even if it is it Helmut Lang.
That being said, some of the cases are cute, some people can't help but run into any thread where trends and labels are discussed and bash folks...really get over yourselves....

I think we can all agree that designer iPod cases are less about function and more about status...
