it's not arrogance.....it's the superior look models give to make us peons feel insecure and buy.

Personally I've never found her attractive. Too much Vincent from TV's Beauty and the Beast and Jocelyn Wildenstein going on.

I think the problem with her face are the corners of her mouth. They are going down like this smiley which gives her this arrogant look...
But I´m glad a big company like Lancome uses a non-white model!

But that's just how her face is shaped... That's simply what she looks like when she's not smiling. She's doing what any other model does in ads (of the ones who aren't smiling).

I am glad that she is doing well, but she is not my favorite. Gosh, in the pic above..her mouth looks sooo tiny. Nothing wrong with that...just never realized it so much.

i dont think its the shape of her mouth that gives her the arrogant mood, because she's not always looking arrogant, its just a pose, a feeling..

my problem is that she only has this annoyed expression, never seen her in a happy pose, or with a different kind of pleasant expression

apart from this, yes, it's sure great for Lancome do communicate with a more versatile ethnic 'audience'
