Devon from a rich family, her dad is a owner of Benihana. Her grandmum and Kate Moss are good friends and she first met Kate when she was 13. Kate brought her to modelling then both of them took a music video Kowalski (Primal Scream) together.

I was dissapointed that she didnt have any speaking roles in sin city, she had one look throughout the movie.

Devon Aoki is not a great model in my opinion. She doesn't look like model at all, her Harpers Bazaar cover is the only nice pic of her that I've seen.
Her catwalk is dead and boring and she doesn't stand out at all. All the movies that she has done have sucked and badly. (Well that is not her fault, but anyway) So I can't see her even as a great actress.
I wouldn't notice Devon on street if she would pass my by, cause she simply does not look anything at all.
I don't think she even has any style. There is many much more prettier asian women out there with great personal style.
But, she does have nice name. Fantastic!

I think it'd be hard not to notice her if ever I passed her on the street. She has such a unique and pretty doll-face. But yes, I agree with you-the movies she has done have been crap. In Sin City, she was supposed to have one face throughout the movie if you have ever read the graphic novels. Her character is mute. I think she should just stick to modeling...

Dead or Alive is based on the video game right? If so, that game sucks and it's somewhat perverted. It's a fighting game where all the female characters have huge, jiggly boobs and when they always flash their panties when they jump up into the air.

Yes it is based on the game, but as you can see by Devon's costume (she plays Kasumi) and bust size, it won't be following it exactly.
