I'm excited because I was watching Tv and they mentioned that because of the writer's strike, they may be playing this show on I think ABC. I don't have Showtime and have wanted to see this show forever!

It's going to be on CBS. I think it starts on Feb 17th at 10.

Its SOO GOOD! One of the best shows on TV. I recommend that you watch the original shows because they are gonna have to edit the hell out of them to get it on CBS lol.

I don't have Showtime either, I watched them online. So let me know if you want the link to where the episodes are.

I just read they recorded alternate dialouge for the cursing at the time of taping the show....
so I guess they planned to go to network all along.

I preferred the first season as well... I don't know what to expect for season 3.
But I have to say... I watched all of season 2 in one day

I know I'm way behindso I haven't read all this thread (for spoilers) obviously but jusy gotta say I'm loooving this showMichael C. Hall is easily the best actor on TV right now. I loved him in Six Feet Under and really thought I would only ever associate him with his character Keith in that show but after the first episode of Dexter that was totally wiped from my mind as he totally inhabits this new character.B) Is there a more complex and compelling character on TV at the moment??? I don't believe so.

Hall's spokesman, Craig Bankey, said on Friday that the couple eloped in California on New Year's Eve. They'll walk the red carpet together at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday — the first time publicly acknowledging their relationship.
Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, just finished the third season of "Dexter," the Showtime series in which Hall plays the murderous title character. They've been quietly dating for about a year and a half.

This show is verging on being the best thing on the box right now The concept is just fantastic and mind blowing and I don't thing any actor other than Michael C. Hall could pull this off........making a serial killer, by turns touching, neurotic, heroic and above all funny.
Currently just watched the first episode of season 2 and looks like there are some surprises in store.

The interaction between Dexter and Doakes played by Erik King is just to die for.

Last October I saw those Big billboards in NY at union square of Dexter. I reconized the actor Michael C. Hall, and I always liked him in Six Feet Under Tonight I am going to watch the first episode of the first season!
