Omg the ending of last nights episode! So intense!

The first episode left me really excited to see where they take the show from here... Hopefully they don't play out the whole "Deb finds out" thing to death. I'm really curious to know how the intern works into the show this season too.

Yeah the intern storyline is what Im looking the most forward to this season. He is such a creep.

I m still too shocked to think much of this episode. Debra just "went along" with whatever Dexter said even if it was absolutely irrational. I want to know more about the creepy intern and about Laguerta and her plots and schemes. This season I find myself hating more and more Dexter's character. He has been losing all his saving graces and becoming more and more of a monster.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting them to take the intern story in that direction...

They should stop the permanent dialog between Debra and Dexter speaking about HIS urges. Screenwriters, we know Dexter since season one, he is a serial killler, MOVE ON for chrissakes and stop TALKING about it!

The ukrainian/russian mafia storyline is so boring. I hope it gets better.

I think this season is lacking a strong guest star, the season seems to be all over the place. There are gross storyline errors...Harrison (the baby) enters and dissapears of Dexter life inexplicably. It used to be such a clever show.

^ I agree. Although I do have to admit that the final scene with Dex/Deb in the last episode gave me some hope that they'll save that plot situation somehow...

I'm getting pretty excited about the new season with Charlotte Rampling and Rhys Coiro (aka Billy Walsh from Entourage) joining the cast. I adore them both. Sean Patrick Flanery has joined as well.

Yes, season 8 has been confirmed as the last season.

I did, I wasn't too happy with the ending either. I thought Deb deserved a lot better than that.

^ I think that was the worst part, especially because her and Joey were reconnecting and she was finally coming to terms with Dexter. I was really hoping his plans with Hannah would work out for the sake of Harrison.
