Just found this on Style.com- I think it's lovely. Besides the fact that (when compared to the normal Runway and Haute coture shows) it's "boring" or "commercial", I think there are some really lovely peices in this collection- opinions?

I wish there were some closeups of the shoes- they look like they might be cute

I like how the interpreted the HC, if you notice the sequins that trims the bottom of some of the dresses and jackets is very similar to the "blood" that were splashed across dresses and coats in the HC...

The clothes are incredible, a little bland, yes. Those shoes are the shockers, they're soo...granny...Very Chanel...(yes, Chanel's shoes, for the most part, are very granny)

Those wigs!! They're horrible!!

I don't think the sandals look "granny" -I'd have to see the heel to tell-but I agree about chanel- in fact everything chanel looks like something I picture on a little old rich lady, i've never seen the appeal... :innocent:

as for it being more boring (wearablee) than the fall show, that would be the whole point of what "cruise" collections are about

its nice to see Caroline Ribeiro back on the runway, but even more nice to see Yasmin Warsame!

the clothes are cool. but i'm not really into women's wear, so i don't follow the designs from season to season.

yay yasmin and caroline are back, haoppy canadian,we think alike, but am i the only one that thinks that this could pass as a prada show?!...

this is realy nothing...
i just cant see anything in the clothes...
H&M does better copies...

Beautiful, but nothing groundbreaking. I bet I wont remember this collection tomorrow. But it is very beautiful nevertheless, I wish I could have some of those pieces.

i'm blown away. this is how dior should be.

Yes, I do agree.. Dior is in progress!

they are moving from tacky and low class outfits (except HC which is nice) to wearable nice things... not bad for a cruise!

Dizzytacks, yes it could be Prada in any sense.. actually isn't John Galliano copying (or.. just taking his inspiration) from other designers?in SS06, they were also a lot Helmut Lang/ZacPosen like ...

I like a few of the dresses, not the rest. But it could've been a lot worse.

I especially like the last batch of pics you posted, Stilettogirl!

I cannot see the shoes well enough to comment on them, but dior shoes are almost *always* cute (though a little tacky sometimes, yes, but I  them still) I agree that Chanel shoes often tend to be a bit "granny", but they're classic and often beautiful (apart from the shoes with the patent toes, I really don't care for those)
