poor Dirk, it's just getting worse and worse...

Hate the colours.. hate the fit of the clothes.. hate the entire show

Ugh..those first two outifts....is he designing for the Olympic Sled bobbing team or something??

He really, really, really needs to stop now. This is sad.

To be somewhat fair, he has found his niche in the Euro football players market and designs accordingly. Someone has to dress them and their fans....

I really, really hate DB's collections. This is really just bad.

On a positive note - I'm not seeing any "DIRK BIKKEMBERS SPORT COUTURE" tees and polos..

I used to like his designs, but this is...
I guess the theme's scuba diving or sth?

so true...i scouted this amazing deconstructed flannel biker jacket at a Paris flea market from a collection he produced for Gibo about a zillion years ago. I'm not that familiar with his really old stuff, but I was surprised he's ever managed to anything decent.

Oh, his early, pre-Milan stuff was really, really beautiful. His boots and his heavy knits were the best, I still keep all of them. I believe that he consciously chose the purely commerical route when Belgium first thundered. Milan really spoiled him

Wow, it's so reminiscent of Tommy Hilifger and other sport fashion labels.

I also heard that Bikkembergs uses crap materials in his clothes :ninja:

Oh, I just located a new nightmare store selling Bikkembergs plus other crap near my place in Helsinki...

i was wondering who this was supposed to be for...
at least that's one thing you can never accuse the americans of...
dressing in that euro-trash footballer way...
strictly a euro thing that is...

I agree Faust - his early pieces were beautiful. My first ever suit was a great steel grey woollen suit by Bikkembergs Hommes from the early nineties which was absolutely fantastic in cut, fabric and shape. And his early boots remain seminal in the history of modern menswear :D. A pity to see him churning out this crap (again) - that Chrono sweater!

I'd love to see an image of those boots you're talking about...
