What? What? Nobody posted this masterpiece before me? You philistines, this is the quintessence of Dirk's art.

(picture is from StyleZeitgeist, I'm going to search for another from " real" source - aka Yahoo or Getty )

Hm...... Bikkembergs shows are basically w*nkfodder, nothing else really. Well, a lot of them are Butterfaces anyways

And I can't believe how he calls his stuff.... "Sport Couture"? Are you on something?

Let the steroid show begin!

 Couture. Yeah, right. In the spirit of egalitarianism, here comes the show.

See Sean O's expression (left) for a clue as to how I feel about this collection.

i don't know his work very well, but i was kind of expecting more? Isn't he part of Antwerp Six??? He seems to be like a graphic designer..From what I've seen, a lot of his products bare prints of his logo / initials /name on it

I think this is very obscene to see the naked top of an old man... don't care if he's well built or not...
this is just déplacé...
I don't understand why Dirk turned like that.... I remember a very good collection of him... long time ago, now...
but at least he's in the SS08 sport trend... and this could help him...

I'd show an interest in that croc/exotic print blue leather bag. Except for that, I can only say that the runway looks really pretty.

This sums up the nice stuff I can say.

Milan bores me. I hope Paris will gimme something nice. (or even NYC :ninja:)

Agree, that bag is yumz.

i would wear most of this stuff apart from the skimpy pieces. I love the jackets and blazers!!!

I always love this show, not really for the clothing but I find the men to be absolutely delicious...lol

Well he used to have an "antwerp" style, but not since his "football" move... what a shame... do you imagine that he was considered as a fellow of Dries and Ann? Now even Dsquared and Dolce&Gabbana are chic if you compare them to this...

Ho and even the models are ugly :sick::sick:

(at least his stuff is cheap )

i've never had an affinity with dirk's work and i never held him as highly in terms of style as the rest of the belgian designers or his initial peers of that group that i shall not mention again  he was okay.....his work never really moved one tears for its sheer intensity, poetry and innovation. but it was never as horrid as this.

I've never liked him either but I've read dithyrambic critiques about his early stuff

(about the Antwerp Six thing, though, who wears Walter van Beirendonck :innocent:? Who even knows who Marina Yee is ? I guess only Ann and Dries are successful, maybe along with Walter - I don't like him though)

I utterly agree about the Ant6 debacle .. hes out of place ...

that old model looks like the birthchild of a muscle queen and Herr Karl ...

and his stuff is soo young and sporty and soccery ... I mean ... someone please explain this to me ... I mean it ... really
