Carol Christian Poell S/S 08 Milan

the t shirts look insanely cozy and comfy...
like you are just wrapped in the softest of t shirts...

lovely to see them laid out flat like that and then to compare to the previously posted pics on the model...
it would be hard to completely understand the item unless you see it both ways

thanks so much casius!...

No problem!

Those tees and turtlenecks are really cool, all constructed with one seam.
The glued button down shirt is my favorite though. Glue that pieces the garment together that can withstand dry cleaning, etc. Such a unique idea and the color difference at the seams is a nice touch.

the glued pieces are indeed very nice, the seams look and feel pretty cool. Lift Etage and Ecru in Tokyo both had some s/s stock including the short and longsleeve glue seam t-shirts, turtlenecks, several trousers and shirts.. too bad they carry quite small sizes :(

Oh my, I am in love starting w/ post #30. I want everything.

Alex my man... prepare to both poo yourself at the pricing this season and also to take out a second mortgage to buy a few shirts!

Average button up prices hover around $1k, the new leather jackets are about $6k and boots are now at $2k... belts around $600-700 to start.

it's a sad state of affairs :(

thanks Casius for the pics

pantograph...?
is that the sort of accordian-like metal that looks like a store gate?
is that a bracelet or a ring in post #34 runner?
i like it very much...
if it is a bracelet then it would seem really brilliant to me...
and i cannot believe i haven't seen anyone do this until now...
it is especially appealing for me who has such small wrists and has so much trouble finding a bracelet to fit...
*this one seems totally adjustable and therefore very appealing...
:D
the 'locket'? seems very cool as well...

yes accordion-like metal, softgrey
the one in the pic is a ring.
the ring comes in two sizes though, long and short.
there is a bracelet as well. it's adjustable yes.
but it would hurt a bit. the only thing which works might be a ring in short length.
the locket is really a spring coin holder.
they are all silver.

the tape detail from this season,
his plastic love.
but it is suggestive of flesh.

in my eyes, more like thin skinned seam
there is a clear version too.

ok-you guys have all sold me on the idea of the tape and the glue...
of which i was suspicious at first....
but the more i look at it the more i like it...
*if it really is true that it can go to the cleaners without being damaged-
i find this a bit difficult to believe
to be honest...

i guess the pantograph jewelry would all look best on a man's hand because of the size and weight of it...
i often like men's jewelry better than women's...
but only from afar ...because most of it cannot be worn by a woman...
such a shame...
:(
it's really beautiful though...i love the finish on it...
'coin holder'...ha!...i doubt anyone is carrying coins around in a locket these days...
^_^

thanks for all the info and details runner....:flower:
