I notice that whenever I put my contacts on my eyes seem to look bigger? Does anyone else feel this way or am i just weird? lol :p

I don't really notice anything... but I have noticed that ever since I got contacts, My eyesight has progressively gotten a lot worse. :p

i do'nt think they do, but i hate my glasses. I want a new pair that are plastic framed, instead of metal. I think that would be way hotter....

Plastic frames rock! Since several months ago I'm against metal frames...lol

When I use contacts my eyes just look the same, I hate using them at times cos it can be annoying almost poking ur eye.

I agree that mine seem to look bigger, but that might just because I can actually see them (rather than a darkish blur where they should be) with them in, and because glasses for near-sightedness will make them slightly smaller. Other than the fact that they can be a pain in the behind sometimes, I really like wearing contacts. Apparently if you wear some light reading glasses, like +1.00s, for close work, it'll help your eyesight deterioration be slower...

i ve been wearing contacts for 10 yrs and i never noticed, the only thing is they do make my eyes look red

I don't notice my eyes being bigger either . . . but I think that like Luna my eyesight has gotten worse . . .

I've had contacts for a long time and haven't noticed my eyes appearing any larger than when they're out. Oh well :p

Contacts sure made my nose look bigger. And longer. My nose is simply impossible and is best suited to propping up a pair of glasses! B)

I guess my eyes do look bigger without my glasses over them because of the prescription in the lenses. I am very, very myopic and therefore the correction of the lenses does make my eyes look somewhat smaller. I'll deal with that, however, since the glasses help counterbalance my considerable schnozz, about which I am obviously self-conscious.

My glasses also help disguise a scar from a birth-mark that is on the left side of my nose. I am way too lazy to wear makeup to cover the scar, and my glasses do an admirable job of hiding it.

i can't stand contact lenses...they hurt so much...
if anything ...i am sure my eyes look much smaller from squinting so much from the pain...

ayli...i like my glasses for a similar reason...tinted lenses do wonders when it comes to hiding dark circles under your eyes...it's like an instant face-lift...
without the expense and the pain...^_^

if you are near-sighted glasses can make your eyes appear smaller vs if you are long-sighted glasses will make your eyes appear larger.. That might account for why you think putting in contacts makes your eyes look bigger..that is if you are near-sighted..if you are long-sighted..well there goes my theory :p

I used acuvue color contacts (they're really great BTW) and I always think that my eyes seem bigger once I put them in.

Truth be told, its probably due to the fact that my contacts make my naturally dark brown eyes look like a amber/honey color, which "brightens them" and therefore makes them look bigger.

I seem to be in the minority of people who love my contacts, although once I turn 21 or 22 (I turn 19 at the end of June) I plan to look into laser eye surgery to correct my near sightedness...

Ciao
Jason
