does anyone buy japanese magazines?

So great jaymee.
I liked the new cover on SPUR. Do you have Liv Tyler's scans? She looks lovely in that cover!

Thanks
Liz

I'm tempted by the wonderful covers they have. But unfortunately, yes, that's all I've seen of them -_-
Both of their covers are fantastic!

Vogue Nippon!
i really like vogue nippon. i'd buy it more frequently if it were more readily available. the latest issue i have is "we  black" ...

I live here in JPN....I have to say that all of my $$$ or Y Y Y go to fashion magazines....

here is my bundle

Maigatsu (every month)

SPUR
VIVI-
NIPPON VOGUE
JAPAN ELLE
HARPER BAZAR
NYLON JAPAN
GLAMOUROUS
GLITTER
GISELE

OFF AND ON

MADAME FIGURO
GINZA

So-En and Hi-fashion are the best for high fashion editorials!! They`re are quite something to browse at from time to time.

A real horrid cover :yuk:  No one can make a decent cover with such ugly girl though. its cover choice was so breathtakingly stupid.

^hehe, yup, i do. thanks china doll :flower:

i love ryoko tsushin and i just got my first copy of so-en. i chose to buy an older issue they had (jan 06) rather than this month's. it looks really good but i am waiting until friday (i'm flying to ny!!) to browse it properly. i used to be addicted to magazines, but i had to stop (for money and space), so it's a rare treat!

I luv Vogue Nippon, they have got a theme for every issue. It makes their Vogue more unique.
I also buy "Soup" and "non-no" from time to time, their street fashion rocks!

i buy the lower end japanese magazines when ever i can.

i like cutie, fruits, street, mini, zipper, kera, soup & non-no

I don't buy anything regularly anymore. Usually it's just what strikes me as interesting. And yes, I do read a little Japanese. I've become an expert at fashion terms and designers in Katakana now. :p

There was a time when I almost always bought Fruits and Street (and maybe Gothic & Lolita Bible and Hello Kitty GoodsB) ) but now it's more likely to be Vogue Nippon or Non-no. I must be growing up!

I have two old copies of ryoko tsushin that I will never throw away... that mag, but it's impossible to find in europe... And I sometimes get NYLON japan sent to me when I have done stuff for them:innocent: it actually looks much better than the US edition, better paper, better print. Japanese printers are a class of it's own!
