Such a beautiful and iconic collection. It's so effortless, it's actually quite spectacular. It's beautiful clothes that speak for themselves. No gimmicks, no stunts, just pure fashion. It was a very confident and ambitious offering. It's still very fresh looking today.

I'm so glad that i own pieces from this collection and from that era of Dolce & Gabbana.
This was and still is IMO their best collection. This collection was kind of a bridge. It was the time when they pushed themselves but at the same time, it recalled the great days of what they did in the mid 90's.
The clothes were wearable without being commercial in a literal way. Gorgeous fabrics, gorgeous silhouettes and quite subtle...
And the show was a moment. Those dresses at the end were just a must!

I think i might wear a look from this collection today. It brings so much joy!

I'm jealous! Which pieces do you own?

I own the two paint splash t-shirts, the shift dress version of the dress on miss Trentini (look 5), the skirt on Raquel (look 6), a pantsuit (look 14), the second dress on post #180 (look 46) and two open toes low boots (a black patent and a jacquard).

There were some beautiful coats in that but they were too precious or dressy for me at the time. I wish i had that big jacquard coat.
That Dolce collection was one of the best sale ever! Too bad SS08 had so many good collections
