alot of people are going to be up-at-arms simply because they think of Ale and Izabel as lingerie models, who are "stealing" the campaign away from some poor high fashion models who "really deserve it". that attitude is, in my not-so-humble opinion, utter nonsense.

Alessandra Ambrosio has been a professional working model for over a decade. she has got more experience in front of the camera than most working models today. she knows how to pose and she knows her lighting and her angles and all the rest of it.

just relax, everyone. there will be more pics to go by.

i'm very excited to see Maryna!

maybe Isabeli can at least give it something other this first lifeless image

well i dont want to use cliche expressions like VS or Lingerie model but Ale for me is just a beautiful girl... and she is just not versatile enough for me... I don't think it is even necessary to mention VS bcos many fashion models do work for them too so I don't see a problem with it... to be honest I kind of liked the campaign with Madonna, it had some character to it, something was going on and I generally very much appreciate story lines in photography...

what I don't like is when some unseen powers blow designers minds off and make them obsessed with some models... usually campaigns turn very very flat...

Anyway I don't even want to say anything about Ale when someone like Myranda is doing editorials and covers for VI...

How can the campaign be coloured when the collection was practically black and white? If the campaign had "colours of spring" then the clothes would virtually disappear.
And this is only the first shot we have, for all you know Alessandra could be the star of the whole campaign, after all she's possibly the model with the most experience from the entire cast (though Isabeli might be even more so).

Maryna more experienced than Alessandra? LOL What space and age are you from? Alessandra has been around since 1999 . I actually like Maryna more, but trying to argue in her favour is just stupid.
