Not sure if this is accurate. she was the only asian at prada and the top asian girl of the season with jing and feifei. Wang, Proenza, Prada. sorry I dont see the other new girls like Yuanbo, lupings, tianas, soras in the same group. none of them have campaigns or walked those blue chip. yes paris seems to be an anomaly.
this editorial/campaign season will test them all.

Just think my expectations were just too high.


If walking and repeating Prada trumps all other then yeah she's in the same 'league' as Fei Fei and Jing, if you put it that way (and you mentioned Wang and Proenza too). But how loyal and reliable is that? Where/who are the other brands that are the bluest-chip of them all is backing her other than Prada? LV, Balenciaga and Lanvin dropped her. Could be temporary. But who knows. And that's why I sounded so depressing and perhaps negatively with those three gone... And no I just want to put this into perspective too. Dylan will surely rise.

And I agree we shall see what happens next. I truly think all of them could shine one way or another in their own right though, if the opportunity is given as much.

Why the comparison with Gemma? It’s completely different in Dylan’s case; she’s a newcomer where she’ll have to prove that she’s just as wanted as any other girl out there. What this signifies in one way is that she’s not as “hot” to be a part of the show...I mean only the cool/it girls are walking all the big shows, right? Yeah, there are the designer, stylist and CD who are going to favor their girls over the other – which is essentially the point. If Dylan cannot swoon these people or maintain these shows, what does that suppose to say?

Like I said before it could just be this season or temporary. Next season, we shall see. Merely looking at from a different angle and from the bigger picture; and forecasting where Dylan stands among the sea of models...

Okay, so this is rather interesting and concerning. From what I've seen, I know Dylan has new work that are yet to be released (mostly domestically).

But why is it that she has not shown up in Vogue China yet? Seriously.

And damn. Where is the support of the west? What's Supreme's plan for Dylan other than 'trying' to keep her selective - not sure whether that's working so far, or we've yet to see... Prove us wrong.
