NEW YORK, July 2, 2007 – Doo-Ri Chung branched out for Resort. The jersey girl's new knitwear came in the form of an easy, dolman-sleeve sweater—paired with high-waisted, pleat-front shorts for a tomboy look—as well as a cropped and fitted button-front vest that dressed down a warm-weather cocktail number. There was an air of the twenties in a drop-waist, flapper-esque dress, but the designer also revisited the forties, emphasizing the waist via elongated skirts and a belted, full-skirted trench. Of course, no collection of hers would be complete without pretty, gathered-at-the-neck tops and dresses; this season they came in shades of khaki, nude, and pale pink.

frankly, the only thing i really like about this collection is the shoes

it's kind of boring, but i like it and would wear pretty much everything.

Doo.ri is a talent on the rise but this is completely boring - no lesser way to say it. From the pallette to the spiritless shapes. She usually has such an interesting and fresh take on the usage of fabrics. This is a total backseat for her.

oh i think it's lovely. much lovlier than most other resorts. i actually really love that first coat and that gold ensem with the gilet down towards the bottom.

love some of the construction details.. like using the buttons for seams instead of sewing, and combining bustier-like top with shorts and raglan sleeves in one

Breathtaking, undeniably chic and effortlessly ethereal!

She just gets it soooo right EVERY time.

That first dress is great! Very classy downtown sorta look. The rest is pretty boring, but still cute. The only thing I hate are the shoes. Too weird for soft clothes like that.

I like every single piece. Very simple, but sometimes that's okay. :)

I can't say I love it but I kinda like it, it just look so sweet
The shoes look fantastic anyway

Thanks, masquerade! :woot: I think this collection is top drawer fantastic! The variety of shapes, soft colors (very important in summer light) and lithe fabrics seem to be super wearable. Lovely!
