There seem to be lack of a 'star quality', he may have gotten a big campaign gig with Polo, but if he's gonna be a certified star, he must at least have made some 'waves' on the runways. Another polo model, Patrick Sullivan may also be described as 'preppy' but at least, he seem to have gotten himself some runway exposure himself.

and oh, he's being handled by 'major' models, and it seems THAT agency is NOT major to me...

Doug is a RL exclusive. If he wasn't, he is too tall to do much of anything else. Plus Ralph has made him a millionaire, so no need to walk or work for anyone else.

Oh he is too tall do to other modeling? I didn't realize that...

I heard he moved from NY to LA. I wonder if he is going to continue modeling for Ralph Lauren

Either way I hope he keeps modeling... although he's made enough money not to... He's by far my most favorite model!
