The F/W 2026.27 Show Schedules...
.. I think she (like many other models) felt like she had to jump on the youtuber bandwagon but probably didn't feel like she had the skills or time to do it herself, which is what has made youtubers relatable no matter how stupid their s*it is... that it's very 'just like you!'/DYI/started-with-just-filming-myself-and-look-at-me-now!'. She skipped the line because I guess she can afford it and directly went to a company specialized in building content and a brand out of your personality, which feels mildly dishonest when you compare her channel next to other channels by models but not so much if you take it as pure entertainment and place it next to, I don't know, any Vogue channel.
. The tears, the arguments with her husband, a segment/scene to introduce her children, the fake 'Q&A' (responding to a questionnaire likely created by her team and to match the direction of her content and definitely not subscribers), the shots as if there isn't a third person filming them even in bed (especially in the first videos I think). I get her career has to keep growing and all models are now looking into youtube to stay relevant but Doutzen's channel comes off as if she doesn't really know how to even upload a video and is blindly relying on outsiders willing to sell out every corner of her personal life fast and through a format that new generations are already moving on from (the reality show narrative) and feels kind of out of touch for its platform.
seriously?!
