No, I don't think so, at least we were taught something different about it.
Of course everybody uses the word with meaning the whole country, but actually "Holland" describes a little part of the "Netherlands"

Well, R_R is kind of right. Holland is a part of the Netherlands (North Hollands & South Holland) but a lot of people in the Netherlands say they are from Holland (even when they don't live in North or South Holland). Everybody knows what they mean, but they are actualy wrong. A lot of Dutchies make this mistake. (I'm dutch too)

Yeah, I've noticed that at the 2005 VSFS. So I guess they are scars.

^ they look like stretch marks to me. A friend that I know who is a professional body builder got large ones like that spread apart on his chest and arm pit area. He has them spread around on parts of his legs too. He told me it can happen when your body builds up a lot of fat, or in his case too much muscle in a short time period. And old stretch marks generally are white in color. I could be wrong...

Personally, I think they look too straight and too far apart to be stretch marks. I have a small "battle scar" on my stomach from when my appendix burst, and when I do have a tan, which is rare for a fair-skinned girl like me, my scar always looks lighter than my tan. However, I could always be wong too. Haha

I don't think they are stretchmarks. The marks wouldn't be so straight and they wouldn't be horizontal if she had them on her legs. Stretchmarks, scars or scratches, Doutzen will always be beautiful.
