^^She only had three succesfull runway seasons. (f/w 05/06 - s/s 06 - f/w 06/07). She is succesful, but the real top is much higher. I think when she will be a household high-fashion name she needs to be this succesfull for a couple of seasons. I mean, L'oreal is a big contract but it's no highfashion.

And I just dont get it I think she is perfect for high fashion only the damn weight discussion is apparently still a big thing, I'm a woman but I think for guys to that we like to see a little bit sexy body shape right, otherwise it reminds me to much of a boyish look or something

Well, I personaly think Gisele Bundchen is the lastest supermodel. I mean, not everyone knows Gemma, Daria or even Doutzen. A lot of people do know Gisele. I think there are no 'supermodels' in the making anymore.

The last real supermodels are Naomi and Kate. Gisele is not really that known. Maybe in America but the general public in Europe/Asia probably don't even know what she looks like.

Doutzen has the potential to be a supermodel as well as Karolina Kurkova. They are what the general public will find attractive.

Gemma is a megastar in the fashionworld, but to the general public she's just too weird looking with the babyface/wide eyes. I'm not dissing her. She's a great runway/campagin/editorial model, but she's not what people consider 'a hot chick'
