Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes knows how to look slender in photos, fix aching feet, and make her own coffee. Still, she's surprisingly down-to-earth.

LO: What do you order at Starbucks?
DK: Espresso or cappuccino, but I'd rather make my own coffee if I have the time.
LO: Favorite everyday lunch place and what's the best thing to order?
DK: There are so many amazing restaurants in New York, it's hard to choose just one, but I love Gusto -- it's an organic restaurant. I order the arugula salad with grilled chicken.
LO: What's your #1 trick for staying so beautiful?
DK: Be happy -- beauty shines from the inside out.
LO: Do your feet hurt during fashion wee? What do you do about it?
DK: Of course, especially when you are walking around in 4-inch heels or the wrong size shoe. One of my guilty pleasures is reflexology.
LO: Do you own colorful underpants?
DK: I'm a Victoria's Secret model, how could I not? Powder blush is my favorite fall color. It's the new nude. LO: If a photographer asks to take your picture, what's your fail-safe pose?
DK: Hands on your hip with one leg slightly out. It makes you look tall and slender.

THAT is truly hilarious. um ... Doutzen, honey ... that's not just your fail-safe pose -- it's the exact. way you pose. EVERYTIME. you are on a red carpet.

(*and that is my singular complaint about Doutzen... because really, aside from her boring posing, she's essentially the human personification of perfection. *)

^ LOL! Well, sometimes I've seen her drop the hand from her hip! I still think she gets nervous at events though. However, being a VS angel, that shyness will soon be beaten out of her. Good thing? I dunno. I kinda like Doutzen's shy awkwardness!

^ I agree. I think she's cute the way she is. I kinda hope she doesn't get all crazy and in-your-face like a lot of the VS girls are. That attitude suits Adriana, but it wouldn't suit Doutzen.

No prob, thanks for the virtual karma Glad you liked, I love her darker hair too. I just think whats natural is the prettiest for a person - as far as hair color goes, for instance.

Yep, Mchunu<3 is right, its officially called dark blonde I know cause Im the one too and some call it brunette but its not, regardless, I wish Doutzen color her hair back darker...Altho she does look great with the light blond too.

re: her pose... i'm not advocating for her to lose her shy demeanor - it adds to her allure, for sure. definitely she doesn't need to start with the Izabel Goulart ***-in-your-face-while-looking-over-shoulder pose ... but she could definitely change it up a bit. she seems too stiff most of the time she's on a red carpet. and i don't think that's her nature.
