How would you describe your style?
"Very casual:jeans with a T-shirt with the accent on accessories,like a nice bag and a good pair of shoes.Kate Moss is my style icon.She dresses very simple ,but she is always wearing beautiful accesories."
Who's your favorite designer?
"During the day I wear basics form Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Prada.For special occasions
ercy Irasquin.I have some beautiful dresses he made."
Where will we never see you?
In the zoo.I think it's terrible they keep those animals in cages so we can look at them.An elephant doesn't belong in Amsterdam or Emmen."
Are you a big spender?
"Yes.but I hate shopping.I have to change clothes enough for my job,so I try to minimize that.Every season I go to Paris or barney's or Soho in New York to shop.That is spending a lot of money one time,but then I'm realy ready up-to-date for the season.But I like to shop with my friends though.Especially because the dollar is so low now,they can go wild in the H&M and Zara in New York."
How important are your friends to you?
"Very important.If I have a day of, I like to visit my friends in New York to drink a cup of tea and just talk.I like to invest time in that.When you're a model it's hard to keep a social life.Yeah,you can go to nighclubs,but you can't have a good conversation in there.People can say :These are my friends,but that isn't real.
I like to have different types of friends.They give me balance.
When I'm talking to my friend from Friesland about her medical study,I realize that I'm not living a normal life.My friends keep me with both feet on the ground."

About how she and her Dutch model friends like Cicely Telman, Cato van Ee, Annemarie van Dijk and Mireille L'Amie cook boerenkool(No idea how you say it in English) and celebrate sinterklaas.And how her American Agency doesn't get why she wants time off to celebrate queensday."I love to go on a boat through Amsterdam.My boyfriend came with me last year and he didn't know what was happening to him.He is still convinced all Dutch people are crazy."That boyfriend obviously isn't ice skater Sven Kramer who Doutzen was linked to by the magazines."It isn't true"Doutzens agent Sarah Keller stated to glamour earlier.While the magazines were talking about an engagement and a Frysian lovenest,Doutzen was dating boyfriend Greg,the cousin of Lenny Kravitz.Doutzen:"Sven and I still laugh about it.He is a nice guy,but there was never something between us.Yes,we talked on the phone about what was in the magazines about us.It's ubelievable how such a story lives it own life."
What makes your friend Greg so special?
"He is ambitious,confident and funny.Three things that are very important to me.And he is also very sweet.We're not only lovers,but also very good friends.And above all I'm totally in love with him.It's ridiculous."
How do you keep it fun together when you're away so much?
"He also travels a lot and he supports me in what I do.luckilly he is in New York a lot too.
We see each other and then we go our own ways again.This way it stays fun and exciting."
What is on your list of things you still want?
"Being on the cover of the American Vogue.Alone."
How do you see your future?
"For now I'm still busy with modelling.And after this?acting?start my own line?I have to think it through again.But I do want to stay original.As far as my private life I already know.
You can put me on an old farm in the nature where I can make my own cheese and wine.
Where?I don't know yet,but it is with kids.Because I really want kids when I'm older.

Wow!! She is so stunning!!
if you look closely you can tell that they are definitely old pics! 
she has more bone structure in them and her face is more defined. nowadays Doutzen's face is just a little rounder and her bone structure is much less robust. but there are some where her face looks a little more fleshy, like she's been looking recently like in the 5th shot..so idk what to think..maybe they're old and recent ?
anywho, you can't really tell all that much anyway because the quality isn't good..

There new pictures, made in Amsterdam few weeks ago. Also in her new house.

yes I thought about it too, a mix of recent shots w/old shots, but that is a kinda weird for an editorial.
We will take our doubts when we see them in HQ.
