I guess she did the V-Mag nude ed to further her career? I don't understand the logic behind the spread especially since she is such a mainstream model, that is where the major money is now.

I don't think it matters a lot for a models career doing nudity. At the moment Doutzen gets a lot of attentions on the blogs, she's everywhere so I think it's not bad for her career. a lot HF people/fans like it because it's controversial and the mainstream teenage guys like it as well because it's just plain nudity

P.S. She showed a boobie in a Peter Lindberg editorial as well in VP

Why should it? I mean, there are some models like Kate Moss who almost always do nudity and it hasnt hurt them. In fact there arent many sucessful models who havent done nudity.

i agree the nude model is nothing new. I think it is usually tastefully done and it is again in Doutzen's case.
