Kroes the face of Melbourne

Blonde bombshell Doutzen Kroes is being lured back to Melbourne for next year's fashion festival with the promise of being made an ambassador for the city.

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle made the offer after chatting to the stunning Dutch model at the L'Oreal Paris lunch held at Atlantic, Central Pier, Docklands, yesterday.

"If she is prepared to speak highly of Melbourne, and speak highly of Melbourne fashion people, and speak about the Melbourne Fashion Festival as she travels the world, then I would consider appointing her an ambassador for the city of Melbourne,"Doyle said.

He said he would have to have council verify the role.

Kroes, who was the international guest at the festival last year, is making a whistelstop two-day visit.

Kroes charmed guests at the lunch, where she mingled with visiting runway coach J. Alexander, face of the festival April Rose Pengilly, L'Oreal boss Mark Tucker, festival cheif Karen Webster and ex-premier Jeff Jennet.

Kroes said she was keen to return to Australia next year and bring her parents, her sister and her boyfriend, Greg "DJ Ruckus" Andres.

She said she hoped Andrews, whom she has been dating for the past year, would play at some music festivals in Australia next year.

Kroes flies out for the US this morning.

^yea, her body looks sooooo good in that dress. it's strange but she's starting to look very young again..or it's just me? i remember more towards the beginning of her career circa 2005/2006 a lot of people though she looked older than 21..she was much more mature looking..she went through a little point where she kind of lost something for me but i think she's gaining it back. I still think she's looking a little too normal now..being more so of a high end fashion model gave her more edge despite her being more of a commercial beauty...now it's like commercial appeal OVERLOAD.

Doutzen looks absolutely gorgeous in Melbourne. She is just so pretty and I love her body, honestly.

This might sound odd, but two of my favourite photos of Doutzen were of her backstage at a fashion show. In one shot, she was wearing no makeup (and looked stunning), and in the following picture she was all made-up and ready for the catwalk. So pretty.

I've searched through the old thread, but haven't been able to find those photos. Does anyone know which pictures I am referring to? If so, could you post them? She was wearing a black top with a scarf, as well...
