DOUTZEN KROES. She is 21 years of topmodel with light colored hair, blue eyes and comes from Eastermar. When she 18 she sended some holidaypictures to the model agency Papparzi in Amsterdam. Doutzen Kroes just graduated from highschool and wanted to earn an additional income. That worked out, because in two years she reached the top in modelling. Now, she walks the runways for big names as Versace, Dolce and Gabbana and Gucci, She is the face of the new fragrance of Calvin Klein, Eternity and appeared on the cover of Vogue many times.
From 20 till 25th March the new autumn/winter collection of 2006/2007 haute cauture was presented in Milan. Wyn op woansdei traveled to Milan to see hows the life of a topmodel looked like.

Doutzen had a good season. She did a lot of shows in NY and Milan. Paris wasn't what is was aspecting for Doutzen. But Doutzen isn't a typical Paris models (Like Hilary Rohda, Lily D or Vlada). She's more commercial and feminine.

I think her season was quite mediocre to be honest. She could have done much better, but also worse. But I'll stay a Doutzen fan of course. Let's wait what campaigns for FW0607 she gets

I'm beginning to love and respect Doutzen because... She is a larger framed model. By being herself, she is opening up doors for health to be accepted into the industry.... and I have to say... I think her body is extremely more attractive than the stick figures we've been seeing these last 6 or 7 years.

Go Doutzen!
