Does anyone know what Doutzen's contract with VS is for? This is what they said in Karolina K's thread, while calling her the top blonde or something:

Yea, much to most people's idea Doutzen is NOT an Angel, and was not signed on to be. She was signed on to be a spokesmodel, just like Oluchi, Marisa, and a few of the other girls. They get contracts but not like the angels.

Mind you, I'm glad DK is not part of the tack-fest, but still getting their money.

I am just irked that anyone could rank Karolina over Doutzen in anything.

well from my understand & a lot of others, i though Doutzen was the new VS angel as well

although i'm both a fan of KK & Doutzen (with doutzen being my #1), i will agree that KK is more of a lead angel than Doutzen & there's nothing wrong with that; she has other big contracts

I think Doutzen is too classy to do this. I am a bit curious about what she does have to do for her millions. It would be nice if she doesn't have to do the show, as she didn't last time.

i think that vs is all about the way it's done, what the model wears on the runway, and what the model looks like... she could do vs and still look classy. look at heidi klum, inguna butane, and i am sure there are others that manage to walk that runway without looking anything like adriana lima, or miranda kerr. sure, they are beautiful models but they really only fit the vs image, (that's just my personal opinion.) i couldn't picture adriana or miranda doing an elegantly amazing and out of this world editorial with me thinking... "well, that's beautiful, and very vs!"

^Many models choose to walk the VS runway mainly for PR purposes...they know it's highly televised and they'll get plenty of press and have their faces plastered on the tubes of millions...In turn, they'll achieve considerable amount of success--regardless of how tacky the lingerie may be

Actually she is going to become an angel later this year and its not my opinion either its based on facts

You should tell them that in Karoline K's thread. I think the minute Doutzen appears as an angel she will be top "blonde".

VS is tacky, but good $$. I am confident Doutzen will not look tacky because she has a lot of natural dignity. And abs.

I'm actually glad she's signing on to become an angel (if that's the case)...VS definitely needs a sprig of class and a timeless elegant beauty like Doutzen...she's bound to rake in tonnes and maybe this is what she actually wants! I'm sure she'll also stick to doing eds and hopefully get back on the runway soon!

Doutzen is a more shy than some of the top at Victoria Secret (look at Gisele, Adriana Lima etc.) She has the physic but not the personnality to be a VS angel.

Have you ever looked an interview with Adriana? She's pretty shy, and I don't think Doutzen is shy, she's more calm.

I really didn't want her to become an angel at all, she looks gorgeous on the runway and all but she's just not right to be an angel (and despite the fact that I do love some of the angels I really do mean that as a compliment) IMO.
