her time on top podium in europe is probably over, she did great, than less great, there is no chance to do that great again.
But she works for many years now, is still there, still booking very good editorial, I think her whole career is something to respect, and it is probably more interested for her to be in NZ and to earn mone there, than to be in Milan to book just few shows and to earn nonthing...
I totally agree with you. Of course I would pick Dovile hundred times over thousands of others for the shows in Milan or Paris but it's my personal tastes and we have to keep in mind the reality of fashion.
And she's got one of the most interesting career I've ever seen which could be used as an example for the newer girls who are just starting. To show them being a model doesn't mean being a celebrity anymore and that modeling is all about fabulous experiences (working with Meisel for example and for several others) and making some money as well (what she does now plus a few campaigns she did). You can't expect to be at the top for 7-8 but you can always manage to make your career evolve in a very good way like Dovile does.
