draped velvets look so dated to me. i haven't seen it done in a way that i like.

i actually cant bring my self to wear velvet .. it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up .. goes right through me.. have a bit of a phobia about it haha

ialso hate it when you get velvet that clings .. it looks vile unless ur stick thin ..not the most flattering of materials

I LOVED those tops at Balenciaga. The colors were powerful, and it wasn't an overabundance of velvet, thanks to the taffeta pieces. Paired with those grey checked cigarette pants and pointy toed pumps, it's an extremely chic and practical look for evening.
