IDK... Catherine Zeta Jones was about to pop when she one her Oscar, and she still went (though Michael Douglas had an ambulance on the ready in case their little one did decide to make an impromptu appearance).

I´d put Amy Adams in this Calvin Klein. We´ve seen similar dresses before, but with that fabulous red hair she would look flawless.

This Dior Couture is perfect for Renee Zellweger, but she´ll probably play it safe again and wear some boring CH.

This Valentino Couture could work on Jennifer Garner.

Someone MUST wear this Atelier Versace to the oscars. It´s the best gown of the season, imo. Angelina, anyone?

This Gaultier is purrrrfect for Penelope Cruz.

Elie Saab suits Katherine Heigl to perfection.

Monique Lhuillier for Anne Hathaway.

This Halston could work on Jessica Alba. Not sure about the color though.

Marion Cotillard is chic enough for this Marchesa gown.

This Privé would look gorgeous on Katie Holmes. I can see Cameron Diaz in it too.

Well, I just discovered for myself last night the fabulous Zuhair Murad (he's my new favorite). Any of his gowns would be perfect for the Oscars. I expect to see him make it big soon.

My big predictions:

1. Marchesa, Marchesa, Marchesa- I say no fewer than three name celebs will be wearing Marchesa.

2. If It Ain't Broke- I get the feeling a lot of the nominees and presenters are going to be sticking with the designers they've worn a lot of in the past.

3. Best Foreign- I expect to see the stars pull out the big guns for the Oscars (especially post-strike), and that means over the top creations, like Jean Paul Gaultier haute coture or Alexander McQueen... well, maybe not that big, but there will certainly be a few Nina Ricci and Valentino numbers (considering the latters retirement, I do hope he gets his red carpet justice!).
