Dries Van Noten Menswear F/W 2025.26 Paris

I 100% hate this.
This is very Sébastien Meunier's Ann Demeulemeester, not Dries Van Noten.
Color, prints, and rich jacquard fabrics are all missing.
This is too strange and pretty, too much fantasy, not enough reality.
Just another director with a huge ego who loves a basic sweater for himself and makes unoriginal, farty collections. I am so bored and angry.

I prefer Sabato over this any time, any day. This is how much I loathe this collection. Even Puig's f***ing Harris Reed's Nina Ricci has an extremely tacky, poorly made point of view, but for entertainment purposes, there's a reason to exist for the internet's mockery and the industry's diversity hires to reduce their self-guilt. This Dries appointment is really awful, but of course, it's not as bad as Blazy at Chanel.

It is definitely Ann D and Galliano for Margiela much more than Dries but at the same time I love the fantasy and happy they didn’t go streetwear bc that would give me stroke.

Hmmm, who's the fashion editor? It looks too editorial-esque... I assume a runway presentation would've been better and more sober.

There are some great coats (in particular, that one with the purple interior. Not my cup of tea, but it's visually appealing) and pants, but I could get rid of all ribbons (?), feathers and scarves.

The whole setting distracts me too much from the actual collection. If you look carefully, you'll find Dries. But it is not easy to find.

He does surprise me but in a bad way. This collection might have worked as a womenswear collection but as a menswear it just like Dries decides to come out of the closet wearing all of them so he doesn't need to give any explaination.

This is Sébastien Meunier's Ann Demeulemeester x John Galliano's Margiela.

It's described as "designed by the Dries Van Noten Studio and directed by Julian Klausner", so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is an awful start. Not one piece I want to buy as a Dries customer.

Feels very Nosferatu! And DVN for me is very positive, subtle joy, and an ode to nature and life.

This... however. It's about theatre kids reading too much Anne Rice's books. CHOP CHOP

Genuinely hate it, and as a Dries client it pains me to say that. Guess I'll focus on my archives...

I second all the comments mentioning that it feels like Ann D by Meunier. Dries was never about this over-styled depressing approach. There's always an elegance, a sense of comfort too, and an optimism. None of this is shown here.

Gross, fix it before it's too late.

Count Orlock might have worn some of these, when he was alive.💀
I hope Dries is enjoying his retirement.
