What an incredible campaign. That's what you expect to see when a brand hires one of those art photographers, a perfect match between the brand's DNA and the artist's work. Not like that BS Dior campaign by Tina Barney.

" What happens when you ask p*rn stars to act? It’s the question Nadia Lee Cohen has asked with her new campaign for Dsquared2‘s SS24 collection. The shoot is a whole concept – the San Fernando Valley, 90s p*rn, Nataša Vojnović, Tony Ward – and all shot through Cohen’s unmistakable eye. Alongside oiled-up, West Coast imagery replicating BTS at a p*rn shoot, the campaign comes with two videos, one aptly titled Hardcore Ambitions.
“I have always been fascinated by the rise and fall of [the San Fernando Valley p*rn industry] and for the SS24 Campaign I wanted to create something that conceptually replicated this era, D2 being the perfect collaborators, as they already hold such a legacy for provocative, exciting campaigns,” Cohen says of the project."

Despite the inspiration being the 70’s-90’s p*rn industry - that’s really not the vibe I’m getting. I got more of a Hollywood feeling, personally. There’s more glamour here. It’s almost reminiscent of Michele x Luchford Gucci.
Now…their campaign for spring 2003? That was p*rny…
