DSquared2 Underwear 2020 : Dean Perona & Christos Katsavochristos by Christian Oita

I wish someone would cast, like, a beefy rugby build type guy in underwear campaigns. Thick thighs save lives.

THIS. For all of this body inclusivity messaging that we get on the women’s side it’s amazing to me that it hasn’t translated to the men’s side yet. We get only incredibly lean “muscular” guys or teenage twinks. GIVE US BEEFY RUGBY PLAYERS!

I’m OVER simping for any man that doesn’t look like he could snap me in two with his bare/bear hands and crush my skill with his thighs. I demand dad bods and ruby players!

*ahem*

hat underwear doesnt look that nice, that shade of yellow

It’s looking a little bit dated. The fall campaign looked the same way. They really need to get with the times.

LOL, love how the dad/beefy fetishists are outing themselves.

If we're going to talk body positivity in the men's fashion sector, just know they won't necessarily go for the daddies. Or rather, they shouldn't. As proven in this thread alone the dad bods are still considered the norm. Not in fashion but in general pop culture.
The ones they should be shoving in everyone's faces are the Jonah Hill and James Corden types. These are the type of guys who bear the most brunt from the media and public scrutiny in general.

As for the campaign, I actually like the burst of yellow, but I'm so numbed by these sort of tanned and toned bodies. I see it every month in Attitude so nothing really novel about it. In fact it's the back cover ad of the current issue of Attitude.

It’s a great campaign for me...
I mean, judging by their clientele alone, this is very fitting. Not everybody needs to follow what’s going on. And I think the people who buys the brand knows the kind of body you needs to pull this off!

It’s slightly dated but it’s fun and Dsquared2 is all about fun!

I think I juts woke up my neighbour's children with laughter over this post :rofl::rofl::rofl: I second every single word you wrote!

Frankly I think Jonah and James get far more exposure than they deserve! We need male model equivalents to, say, Paloma or Ashley Graham to be scoring underwear campaigns.
