Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson's Style

I dont belive any of those stories, and that picture dosent prove a thing!English press hated her with passion,so not everything should be taken seriously. And how can people know that she didnt love him? They were married for 35 years and besides its all just speculation, now.

I saw Wallis and Edward TV movie yesterday, with Joely Richardson as Wallis, not the best movie.Anyone esle saw it?

The Hitler picture certainly proves something...nonetheless she was an interesting character...

^^Like what? For all we know that was the only time they meet, and many diplomats who were not his supporters meet him in his lifetime and before all of his crime were known.I dont know,i just think that a picture of them with him dosent neccessarily mean she was a Nazi spy or wahtever.I mean its not just her on the picture, her husband is with her.......

Oh no...I'm not saying she was a nazi or was her husband. I just don't think it was the best move on their part. The pic was supposedly taken around the time that the royal family was facing a lot of criticism for their own German roots. I read that in the special edition of People Magazine on royal families, I was intrigued by these two and even more by that picture...

There's two bios on Wallis at amazon...I'm deciding which one is worth it...

^^Oh ya i agree it was not the best idea to visit Germany and pose with Hitler,at all!But some tabloids used those pictures to start lies about her, when in fact he was there with her.

This is when the notorious pictures with Hitler were taken. :ninja:

When she was young...she had a rather nice face...especially in the 1919 pic...
