Ok, I really don’t understand how they managed to completely undermine the amazing legacy Mark Weston built at Dunhill. Simon Holloway seems to have no idea how to make menswear feel contemporary yet classic, and the styling in his shows and campaigns makes this obvious (I don’t believe it’s the stylist’s choice to make everything look that dated and tacky). The watch worn over the shirt sleeve and the rolled-up coat sleeve are beyond any acceptable level of tackiness. The photography is weak, sure, but the fashion part is far more disturbing to me.
