I liked Dust a lot in the past. I loved their strong, slightly homoerotic vision built mostly on very powerful collaborations with Willy Vanderperre. Now, I feel they’ve lost their identity, and the collaborations they’re pursuing with Luigi & Iango are proof of that. Their work for the magazine keeps feeling bland, without any edge or coolness, something a random commercial magazine could easily run. If you can’t tell whether you’re looking at Vanity Fair or Dust, then there’s an identity problem.
