The Netherlands is hardly new territory being mined by the agencies for girls. It's alway had its share of very, very successful girls, going back to at least Wilhelmina, who was with Ford and one of the biggest models in her day before she started her own agency. Maybe it's been overlooked with the advent of Brazil and Eastern Europe in recent years, but Dutch girls have long been a staple in the modeling biz.

I wish I could remember. It was Wilhelmina von something I think. I would need to research it. She was quite beautiful in her day, though by today's modeling standards, she probably would be too beautiful and not quirky or odd-looking enough.
