the name, eatable stands for harmless here. even if you eat this stuff, it is supposed to do you no harm.
of course it must sit too heavy on the stomach. it's their concept.
it seems that one of this designer duo used to work for bernhard willhelm.

accessories made without using any hardware

I don't understand that.. bag-looking thing with the hanger.. it's not part of the dress or jacket right?.
I really like what I see.. especially the jacket.. and I think the bags are quite lovely as well..
thanks for posting, runner!.

Love the colours..

I wonder what makes them 'eatable' ^_^
Those pieces there look like leather

I like the 2nd bag a lot...
Seems right that one of the designers worked for BW...
Their aesthetic is quite similar to his, though more subtle...
Thank you for posting, Runner...
& for always adding something new & interesting to tFS...

thanks for posting, runner...great looking pieces, the jacket is divine and the woven bags, love love

interesting concept...the whole eatable thing...
i guess the shoes are made with 'hide glue'...
a natural glue made from animal hides which is incredibly strong..
and i assume would be safe to eat...:p

*this is just a guess though...

thanks runner...

gotta say though...
i'm with the smiths on this one...
not really loving the samples posted...
:ninja:

but that doesn't mean there aren't other things that might be better of course...
:p

i was wondering the same thing......

only i didn't think it was so lovely...

:innocent:...:D

my er mentor was just showing me some magazines from her 'childhood'... they were 60s, 70s.. and they had purses/bags just like these
the shape and also the clunky wooden handles :o very cute

why would we eat our outfits ???

can we eat the furry hat as well ?

I am wondering too ....
but i think it's a bag she's wearing in "bandouillère" (how do you say this in english ?)

^yes that's this ...
thanks gius ;) ...

so don't you think she's wearing shoulder bag ?

you're all welcome

you guys are right. it's a bag you could also wear on a shoulder.
and it's convertible and becomes a hanger on a trip just as it is.

why would we eat our outfits ???

of course this is not food.
something to wear, as the be-all
we wouldn't eat it.
it's just that, even if a kid or something puts it in the mouth or eats it by mistake, it is harmless.
that is, it is made of/from harmless materials/parts through nonpoisonous process.
it's just name/concept.
maybe relevant since there is too much dangerous substance surrounding us.

so it seems that they launched their site during summer
and the shoes are sewn with resined linen thread after being glued with mochi-gome nori (glutious rice glue).
