With deep green eyes, chiselled cheekbones, thick messy hair and full lips, it’s obvious that Eddie Klint was never meant to spend his life behind the stove. It was at a party in Copenhagen in 2005 that a model scout first approached him and got him to switch culinary school for fashion week. Ten years after that party he has an impressive resume to show for – with his years as the face of Prada as his most notable experience. During the years as one of the label’s muses, Miuccia Prada personally chose him to be the face of the label’s signature male fragrance.

Despite all his success and making MODELS.com’s list of male model icons, Eddie Klint stays grounded and appears to live a quiet life, which is especially visible when browsing through his Instagram profile, where he – unlike a lot of models – hardly ever posts selfies. Instead we get to follow him to Greenland, Bali and sailing the North Sea.

When Eddie Klint isn’t on a tropical island or on the sea, he has his base in Copenhagen from where he goes to film school, cooks and models. We asked him to answer our Top Model Secrets questionnaire after a shoot for H&M in Stockholm. This is what he wanted to share with us.
