^ Nope thats certainly not you seeing the similarities between the two- although I like them quite a lot!

Does anyone know of editorials which have a dancer theme and where their inspirations came from? I've been looking for a few but I don't know where to turn.

^ Nice find nastassia. God, I love Singer's Madame X. I saw one of Singer's trial versions of the painting (focuses on the upper half of the painting and the gorgeous neck/chest area) in London recently and I was blown away. Even in draft, the grace and beauty of the painting was amazing.
