The red pieces at the beginning are gawjus, especially that opening look on Cat.
Yeah this collection is repetitive, but it appeals to the magpie in me.

the final bridal gown is truly spectacular... I actually like some of the gowns in the show... the simpler the better

I'm usually a sucker for EVERYTHING Elie Saab does, and had never gotten tired of his repetitiveness, until now. This collection does seem extremely repetitive, even more than always, and it's boring. He always repeats himself but manages to deliver breath taking collections, except this time. Or maybe I'm just tired of this season's terrible couture collections and I can't find the beauty on anything. I don't know, but for the first time I don't like Saab's work.

This has to be my favorite collection. Every dress is just perfection.

Is it more of the same? Sure, but it's still breathtaking and far better than some of the things we've seen.

Me too. You can't really expect something really new or what's the word...revolutionary? from Saab or Valentino these days. When it comes to the matter of pushing fashion forward i never expect it would be Saab/Valentino. They always make beautiful dresses and that's exactly why i love them.

Elie Saab could just take looks from his past couture shows and reshowcase them and you wouldn't be able to tell anything different. Can he not design anything else?

You took the words right outta my mouth. I've been saying it's repetitive but beautiful for the past few years about the collections. But I think I've had my fill. No more exemptions allowed.

I know he basically does the samething each collection but you can't beat the beauty of his dresses. All of these are so well done. Very Downton Abbeyesque (especially the red ones).

I will say that he has improved his technique and designes from the collections he had 4 years ago. These are much more streamlined.

Elie Saab is like couture comfort food. Will he ever put a lobster on a model's breast? No. Is it a good idea to put on one of his beautiful, expensive-looking gowns before treading the red carpet in front hundreds of camera? Yes.
