I think it's because Nike gives her a ton of free clothes with their logos and stuff... they are the company that sponsors her husband, after all. Plus, most of the pictures we see are of her at golf events and she would look out of place all dressed up with heels and stuff.

Yeah.. Nike does give them tons of free things, but she seems Athletic overall..

Maybe in the early 90s (though she would have been too young then). I don't think she really would ever be a runway or editorial model today. Her face really reminds me of Chelsy Davy (Prince Harry's ex/on again gf) and her style as well.
