Elise Crombez

interviewer: Topmodel Elise Crombes has briefly exchanged the catwalk for the classroom. The students "Fashion" of the VISO [school] in Roeserlare are given tips about how to walk most beautiful over a catwalk. Soon they well show their own designs to the public so they could use some good advice. after the [Elise's] explanation they can try it themselves.

*walking over the catwalk*

Elise: Dare more but also ... [I can't understand this part].... so that feeling is difficult to get. In the beginning you are allowed to exaggerate ,which is a bit strange of course, because those are not everyday movements.

*students talk about how difficult it is.*

Interviewer: Elise Crombe has been a succesful topmodel for six years and knows how everything work on and off the catwalk. Today it was her first time in front of the classroom and it won't be her last.

Elise: I've been doing this for six years now and I've learnt a lot. I think it's important when you can teach girls at that age. The same age when I started...

ah got it:

Elise: They have to learn to dare more, and they don't have high heels either, so that feeling is difficult to get. In the beginning you are allowed to exaggerate ,which is a bit strange of course, because those are not everyday movements.

Sorry for the bad translation but I hope you get the main idea ;)

Thanks very much, Evenstar :flower: Good job with the article too but kinda wish we could understand it. Haha.
Her hair's getting longer or is it just me being unobservant? Haha.

all these ftv interviews from 2004 or 2005 in which elise was saying she had no idea what she was going to do after her modeling career...glad she found something very meaningful to do now :)

I remember used to see Elise's interview about how she decided to drop out college for a while and gave her full attention for modeling. And when there is no place for her in the room anymore she'll continue with her school again. Isn't she studies about language translation somehow ?

I don't think she studied language, I remember from her interview on Tim Blanks site (sorry if mistaken) Elise said she working on translating Spanish to English, while her major back than is Marketing...what University did she enrolled herself in? I guess it's in Brussel.
