Elise Crombez

She looks great in the Jeckerson ad. Thanks for posting it.

Alien Sex Friend was right. After the FW05, Elise didn't walk as many show as the time before for some reason. I guess somehow one of the reason was that the customers noticed the changes of her cheek bone which was seem to get a little more swell, and that showed on many Designer details photos. And that's why since then she didn't get much book for runway show anymore.Compare to all the others from her generation likes Julia S,Gemma W or Daria whos still walked for many shows for many seasons after that FW05 shows.

And Tania I'm not sure where was that photos took place from. Guess that it was somewhere in Paris!

i just was just trying to say that she looks mature... in a good way, i've been following her career for about 6 (?) years now and u can see the difference, of course it's normal, i know, sorry if i was misunderstood guys

i found it thanks Lisa :flower:... there are more pics, it was in London, the making of Kipling FW09 ^_^

It seems like Elise has a campaign or two every season. that's pretty impressive for someone who doesn't do that much runway, editorials or covers.

Are you all talking about how Elise had the jowls a few seasons back? Like saggy cheeks? Because I noticed she had very prominent ones in the VS show.... oh what was it, 05 or 06? But she doesn't seem to have them anymore.

it is so great she continues to get those campaign jobs - not necessarily shocking but does raise a few eyebrows

I fail to see the significance of how her cheeks look. The never looked saggy to me.

thanks Tania!! nice pics:woot:

Vogue Mexico January 2009

Haha, she doesn't have jowels! (Not yet anyway ... they come with age for many. So, if they do come, own those jowls, elder Elise!) If there was any notice of a fleshy jawline, I would bet it was due to the camera angle.

I think it's purely genetic. She looks very Flanders to me. I hope not to sound ignorant, but it seems to me that certain regions of the world produce a distinguishing look. That, of course, isn't always the case, but there is some truth to it. She has a great Belgian face!

Imo, the cheeks and the jaw are a seemly and cherished mark of heritage - check out some Flemish and Dutch portrait painters of 14th-16th centuries. I see some resemblance.

^ great analysis that is. but what i do know :P my knowledge of what flemish people should look like merely derived from my knowledge of elise, after all

the last segment of elise was really cute, particularly when she turned to face the camera very briefly, almost as if to tease us

Kipling updated their site so the new FW 09 campaign is up... here are some caps!
