Anywayz, i was watching ANTM Season 2 and one of the models (anna, the mum, the +size model) was kicked out of the show because she refuses to do a photoshoot on the show, where she has to be naked (but spray painted in private parts) in front of the camera and a male model (touching/possibly not touching her) and lots more people. She got kicked out of the show just for not doing that photoshoot.
I've heard that Elise doesn't do nude, is that really true? and if so, does she get treated like that in the fashion industry? or has her values changed? what's happening?

this photo alone shows you why US vogue is lame & safe & antiseptic.
and that meisel can be brilliant but he's muzzled by anna.
the only truly sensuous images that i can recall ihn us vogue for several years are elise & maybe daria shot by helmut newton.
mcdean meisel testino and klein are capable of cutting edge sensuous images but frigid anna won't allow it.
why doesnt karen look like that in us vogue?

I agree with you completely!

Steven Meisel is a very brilliant and versatile photographer.
I think it's just that fashion tastes are a little bit "less conservative" in countries such as Italy and France.

It's true Vogue US does have the reputation for being slightly prudish.
And the editor in chief Anna Wintour is definitely overdue for retirement.

So move over Anna and give a younger move innovative person a go!!!
