Elizabeth Arden S/S 2015 : Karlina Caune

Wow, Elizabeth Arden looks so young now, very much like Maybelline. EA actually used to have a very mature and classy audience.

As a brand I feel like they're all over the place

She looks like a softer Andreja in the final shot... photoshop gone crazy.

Elizabeth Arden have completely lost it, in terms of their name and the perception of their products. The last time they had any cohesion at all was when Catherine Zeta Jones was their "face" and even that went to waste because they didn't play enough on her classic glamour. Think back to the days of Vendela - you knew where you were with the brand.

They should never have gotten rid of Catherine. Her tenure as spokesperson actually marked an interesting mood which appealed to women of different ages. Amber's as well. Vendela's was before my time (). I'm feeling nostalgic, so here are some of my greatest hits:

Vendela was an excellent choice, because she provided them with a continuous visual identity whose values were clear. She was a grown woman, but had the appearance of being "forever 31" and could wear couture as well as she did a swimsuit.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult these days to find a range of representative models who could establish the same expensive image, yet with a twist that keeps it slightly apart from Estee Lauder et al.

Alisa Ahmann, Toni Garrn, Jessica Stam, and Catherine McNeil would have been my choices to be EA's spokesmodel.
