Because it's Elle España, and regardless of who is on the cover, you'll likely get more content (albeit generic) for your money than from most other Western fashion magazines.

I was hoping for someone like Monica Bellucci, but then I remembered she was on a multi-cover issue earlier in the year.

This issue is about 230 pages, not much of merit inside, and in addition to the cover shoot, ads for Carolina Herrera's Good Girl are both inside and on the back cover, so every appearance of Karlie throughout this issue is just one big advertorial for the company.
