I like the vintage vibe of both covers. The layout could have been better on the second one imo.
It´s nice that they´re addresing the situation but they´re using the fashion content already shot.

I personally like the second cover with her sitting and the layout is minimalist just enough. The first one I don't like it, it's too Gilles BenSimon-ish and the light isn't good on her face from that angle.

I agree I think the lighting was too harsh on the first but they really wanted a cover shot with that top. The second is perfect for me, lighting, pose, and minimalism all work to give me a sense of serenity during this isolation. I think they did a great job of selling me fantasy (also because Alessandra herself in the shot seems isolated) and also being respectful of the situation. It’s an A in my book.

Why release illustrated covers together with actual covers? Counterproductive and a waste.
