The first image has been released from Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming Gothic film Twixt. Rather surprisingly, fans will get their first look at the film at this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego, as Coppola will be bringing the film for a panel in Hall H. The image gives us a look at Coppola and star Elle Fanning on set. Twixt focuses on a hack horror novelist who has ghostly visions that lead him to explore a young girl’s ghostly murder. The film stars Fanning, Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, and Ben Chaplin.

Cannot wait for this film! Especially since it sounds like it has at least a modicum of originality, whilst Hollywood is currently killing my Disney-filled childhood with remakes of Snow White and now Beauty & the Beast.

For a 13 year old Elle has pretty impeccable style (or at least who ever dresses her if she has a stylist). I really like that for the most part she dresses her age, so often girls dress way older then they are. Plus, it looks like she's having fun with fashion!
