Static, yes, and especially odd on many fronts. It would look fancy as a collage or something experimental outside the fashion world at large but as a cover supposed to ooze mainstream appeal? Not really sure.
The hair covering half the face is not a good look. That is what they do to older subjects when they want to save on retouching. The second cover is so much better.
This reminds me so much of Yolanda Sacristan's Vogue Spain and I'm not complaining. I've always been a fan of Giampaolo Sgura's work and do love me some Candice Swanepoel. The first cover with Candice in the Giorgio Armani look is flawless, I am OBSESSED!
