Elsa's getting so hyped in Sweden it's ridiculous. I keep bumping into her name online and in mags, and every other person seem to think that Elsa should've won model of the year since she's more successful than Mona (huh?). And just today I noticed the people at stureplan.se called her supermodel and talked about how she's our biggest model right now (huh?), working all over the world bringing in millions (huh?).

The thing is, I like Elsa, she's pretty and I've heard nothing but good things about her. But where is all this hype coming from?

It is silly. But media and the general public are pretty slow to pick up on new models, for instance I'd guess many people noticed recently that Elsa walked for Dior two seasons ago. I doubt they've got the faintest clue about really new Swedes like Elin or Johanna. And Elsa has obviously been very successful in Sweden lately. More people are bound to see Elsa in music vids, giant posters in the sub, and Swedish Elle, than the minority who read Paris Vogue or realize Mona's the girl in the Nina Ricci ads or whatever.

As for stureplan.se, I really don't take anything they have to say seriously. Clueless people.

I think Elsa is the number 1 upcoming models from sweden, First we haft to get tired of Mona!
But here in Sweden I think Elsa already have started to lose her celebrityfeeling, she's doing job for companies like vagabond and ACO. huh. not very hot

I hope Elsa will do well internationally. But I think there are several other new girls that are more likely to be the next big thing from Sweden.

I love Elsa! Something about the light blonde hair/ light blue eyes combo just makes me smile ^^ She's super cute, and I love her more recent photos...she seems to be getting more comfortable in her own skin. (And she's much better in print!) Thanks for the pics and info, guys!

Elsa wasn't around for the s/s shows, because of school I think, but this season she did a few smaller Paris shows. I have to say she's looked better, though.

I like her, a very soft face, an inviting look. Then she can look edgy and really blow you away! I like her a lot. Although sometimes her 3/4 pictures are a little off, she is still beautiful.
