The hot newcomer that sweeped Fall/Winter 11.12 fashion week in all four of the fashion capitals walking a total of 60 shows in her debut runway season is once again conquering Cruise/Resort 2012, booking the likes of Chanel, Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein, Bally, and more in the past few weeks. She is already listed at #31 on models.com. However, beyond Emily’s distinct cheekbones and bleached eyebrows is a sweet and charming 17-year-old from a small town in New Zealand, who is humble and always in a friendly and positive mood. I’m pretty sold on Miss Baker by personality alone, but she doesn’t stop there. She has gained bonus points for her personal style, which is usually boyish, hippyish, and grundgy with a dash of femininity. I’m loving her incorporation of sheer gear here, which successfully is not dismissing the undertones of her boyish casual style!
